I am a high school teacher and an experienced tutor specializing in math and the sciences. I have had much success in helping a wide variety of students in person, and now on-line.
Location: Abbotsford, BC
On-line tutoring is via Zoom and document camera so students can see as I write notes and explain concepts.
In customized sessions with students I fill in gaps in their knowledge, break down and clarify difficult concepts, and show techniques to aid memory - all leading to improved confidence and problem solving ability, as well as better grades. My background includes degrees in chemistry & education, as well as experience in the chemical industry. I currently teach Math Precalculus 10 to 12, Chemistry 11 and 12, Physics 11 and 12, Science 10. Inquires are welcome.
