FindAtutor.ca used to be a completely custom built content management system. However, since 2008 we've used the Drupal content management system, with a number of custom built modules to make the tutor listings work the way we want.

Proudly Canadian!

Initially the website was hosted in the United States. When new laws were introduced in United States regarding access to data on servers located in the States, we started looking for a Canadian hosting service. Since 2011 we've been using EZP webhosting, located in Vancouver, BC, who offer hosting on servers located in Canada.

Responsive Theme Design

We made a major update to findAtutor.ca in 2016, which include a new mobile responsive design. We used the Multipurpose Theme by Devsaran as the base, and built on it for the theming needs specifically for findAtutor.ca.
