Subjects: Chemistry, Math, Sciences
I have more than 7 years of teaching experience and am currently doing my PhD in Chemistry at UBC and am able to teach high school and middle school chemistry and math. I can also teach UBC CHEM121 and CHEM123 along with their labs.
Location: Vancouver - Central, BC
Located in Kitsilano, Vancouver but willing to travel to Richmond or within Vancouver to teach. Teaching at public libraries also possible.
My teaching style ensures that my students understand concepts and problems that they encounter, allowing them to build from the basics to handle and understand multi-faceted concepts and problems. In my approach, I first gauge students’ method and depth of understanding, then work with them based on their preferences and strengths. Through visualisations and analogies, I relate concepts to my students’ daily lives, seeking to make classes memorable and impactful.
