Math refresher using Khan Academy - fractions focus.
As a new semester of school starts, it may have been awhile since you've done any math. I'll demonstrate using Khan Academy on how to go through their arithmetic course to get your brain back on the math track.
Based on feedback from previous students, they found everything easy to follow along, until they got to fractions and gave up! I've altered my recommended procedure to help break down the fractions section into smaller chunks so it's not so overwhelming, and eases you into reviewing/learning fractions. The procedure can extend to all the topics in the arithmetic course.
Once you're set up on Khan Academy, about 15-30 minutes per day for a few days and you should be well on your way to learning new math topics without worrying about how to do basic math calculations.
Although not necessary, I recommend signing up with an account on Khan Academy. It will save your progress so you can spread your review out over several days and not loose your progress. If you have never visited the Khan Academy website before, it's well worth the visit, there are videos, lessons and practice questions for just about every math topic there is!
