This is a series I'm doing for the third quarter of the 2020/21 school year.

Quadratics feature predominately in pre-calculus 11. Although it may seem like each aspect is different, it all ties together to relate information on interpreting a quadratic equation. I can show you how the information between factoring, solving and graphing of quadratics all relate to one another.

I'll cover any topic in grade 11 math requested. I usually get asked for help with pre-calculus, but I've also tutored foundations of math, and I'm game to tackle questions from the history of math 11 course too! When you register, please include what math course you are in (pre-calc, foundations or history of math).

Once I have someone registered, I'll update this description so everyone knows exactly what is going to be covered in the session. If I don't get any specific requests ahead of time, I'll just answer and explain as many questions as possible during the half hour.

I can help with any high school math, from grade 8 to 12. I cover pre-calculus and foundations. I've also helped mature students with math upgrades for career changes.
Location: Nanaimo - Ladysmith, BC
I'm located in Cedar, equidistant from both Ladysmith and downtown Nanaimo. I can tutor either in-person in the dedicated tutoring room in my home, or on-line using Zoom.
I have a degree in Electrical Engineering and many years experience tutoring students in math. I create notes of every session, and e-mail a PDF to students at the end of each session. I take only a limited number of students to keep my schedule flexible to accommodate extracurricular activities and sports.
