With the start of a new quarter, I have a new set of students. Almost each one I've had to do a review of dividing fractions. Before you can divide fractions, you need to be able to multiply them, once you can do that, dividing fractions is easy.

Everyone hates fractions, but they aren't that bad, it's just a number in two parts. I'll show how to efficiently multiply fractions, and how to deal with fractions on fractions, for example: (2/3)/(5/7). I'll convince you that fractions can be your friend!

High School
Subjects: Math
I can help with any high school math, from grade 8 to 12. I cover pre-calculus and foundations. I've also helped mature students with math upgrades for career changes.
Location: Nanaimo - Ladysmith, BC
I'm located in Cedar, equidistant from both Ladysmith and downtown Nanaimo. I can tutor either in-person in the dedicated tutoring room in my home, or on-line using Zoom.
I have a degree in Electrical Engineering and many years experience tutoring students in math. I create notes of every session, and e-mail a PDF to students at the end of each session. I take only a limited number of students to keep my schedule flexible to accommodate extracurricular activities and sports. Note I reply to inquiries quickly, if you don't hear from me, check your spam folder, or include a phone number so I can follow up with a call.
