Basic math refresher using Khan Academy.
It may feel like it's been forever since you've done math, and you are about to take math at an excellerated pace. It would be nice to get a refresher on the basics so you can start off strong.
I'll go over how to use the Khan Academy's arithmetic course to get your math brain back in shape. It starts simple with addition, subtraction, multiiplication and division, then covers the topics that gets most students tripped up: negative number, fractions and decimals. You don't have to do all of it! I'll show you how to use the information from the challenge test so it will give you a custom set of lessons/practice questions to focus on what you need to work on the most.
Once set up, about 15-30 minutes per day for a few days you should complete all practice exercises and be well on your way to learning new math topics without worrying about how to do basic math calculations.
Although not necessary, I recommend signing up with an account on Khan Academy. It will save your progress so you can spread your review out over several days and not loose your progress. If you have never gone to Khan Academy before, it's well worth the visit, there are videos, lessons and practice questions for just about every math topic there is!
