The most commonly requested topic for help in grade 9 is adding and subtracting integers. I'll give you tips on how to quickly make calculations with intergers in your head.

If you were given a review sheet that included integer questions that you are feel lost on how to do, feel free to include sample questions when you register. I'll try to include as many questions as possible during the session. You can always ask during the session as well!

This session is primarly focused on the need for grade 9 students, but any grade level of student is welcome! Don't worry, I won't tell anyone else what grade you are in, integers can be challenging at any grade.

I'll also demonstrate a card game that can be played with a simple deck of cards for practicing adding integers.

I can help with any high school math, from grade 8 to 12. I currently am helping a student in chemistry 12 as well, so I can provide some assistance with that, especially the math aspects.
Location: Nanaimo - Ladysmith, BC
I'm located in Cedar, equidistant from both Ladysmith and downtown Nanaimo. I can tutor either in-person in the dedicated tutoring room in my home, or on-line using Zoom.
I have a degree in Electrical Engineering and many years experience tutoring students in math. I create notes of every session, and e-mail a PDF to students at the end of each session. I take only a limited number of students to keep my schedule flexible to accommodate extracurricular activities and sports.
