I am a psychotherapist who also has a passion for teaching. Challenges in learning are often internalized and later seen as low self-esteem, a sense of inadequacy, or fear of trying. I help students draw on strengths to support their learning, building confidence and problem-solving skills. Sessions slow things down - focusing on students' unique thought processes when working through problems. The focus is not on the wrong answer, but understanding the process which has lead to that answer.

I’m a retired Ontario Certified Teacher with 30+ years’ experience in FSL and French Immersion. I offer one-on-one tutoring for elementary and secondary students, focusing on reading, writing, grammar, speaking, listening, and vocabulary. I also provide support in English, Science, and Social Studies. Whether it’s homework, tests, projects, or study skills, I tailor lessons to your goals and learning style for success.

I have a Master's degree in biochemistry, 15 years of teaching experience in biology and chamistry, and I speak German, Spanish and basic Italian. I also taught English in Germany for over 20 years.

I support Elementary and High School students with clear and patient teaching. I help students improve in math, science, reading, writing, homework, and study habits. With a Master’s degree in Computer Science and experience mentoring students, I focus on building strong foundations and confidence. I understand the Ontario curriculum and guide students through classwork, assignments, test prep, and organization skills in a calm and encouraging way.

Experience teaching in a Christian School Mathematics 8 to 12 from approximately 2015 to 2021. Graduated University with a bachelor's degree in Physics and a minor in Mathematics.

Simon (Sasan) Ebrahimi, I’m a dedicated educator with over 14 years of experience teaching high school (pre-university) and university-level math, calculus, physics, and engineering. I hold a PhD in Mechatronics and have taught as TA at SFU’s Surrey campus, including Math 100, 150, 151, 152, 157, 251, and various engineering courses. I tailor lessons to individual needs and provide homework, question sheets, and mock exams to support learning.
