We launched a new version of the findAtutor.ca web site in August. Along with the new look, the list of areas was revised. Some areas were split up, others renamed, and many new areas added. Here is a list of new areas tutors have added listings to in the past 2 months:

British Columbia: Vancouver - West Side, New Westminster, Vancouver - East Side, Prince George and White Rock / South Surrey.

Alberta: Calgary - South, Lethbridge, St. Albert, Sherwood Park, and Red Deer.

Saskatchewan: Saskatoon.

Ontario: Toronto - North York, Markham, Norfolk County, Toronto - Scarborough, Toronto - Etobicoke, Vaughan, Newmarket / Aurora, Cambridge, Burlington, Kingston, Ajax, Brampton, Sarnia and Orangeville.

The search options are availble at the top of each and every page on findAtutor.ca. Select level, subject, province and area. By selecting the province first, you will see only the areas for your province in the list.

Only areas with tutors listed are shown, so you don't waste time searching for empty pages. Don't see your area? Try a neighbouring area to find tutors.

The search feature available at the top of the page has been enhanced with the web page update. Your search selections are saved, except the area. This way, you only have to select a new area if you want to try another search. It's also easier to make other slight adjustments to broaden your search range. Go ahead and try it!

Tutors located anywhere in Canada can add a listing on findAtutor.ca. Don't see your area in the list? Simply add your listing, select "other" for the area field, and then e-mail the adminstrator to ask for your area to be added to the list. You'll be the first tutor listed in your area, talk about a captive market! See information about adding a listing on the Tutors page.
